Each GMR5 provides up to 5 watts of transmit power, giving both users a stronger handheld communication option for trails, campsites, open terrain, and work areas. Actual range depends on terrain, buildings, vegetation, antenna setup, weather, and repeater availability.

Use one radio in each UTV, give one to a spotter or trail guide, or keep one at camp while the other travels with the group.

Compatible with GMRS and FRS Radios

The GMR5 includes 22 GMRS channels and communicates with other compatible GMRS radios from Rugged Radios, Motorola, Midland, Uniden, and other manufacturers.

It can also communicate with FRS radios on shared channels 1–7 and 15–22, making it easier to use the pair alongside radios you may already own.

Eight GMRS Repeater Channels

Each radio includes 8 GMRS repeater channels for use with compatible repeater systems. Repeaters can help extend communication coverage in supported areas, although access and performance depend on the available repeater network.

USB-C Rechargeable Power

Both radios include a 2000mAh rechargeable battery and their own USB-C charging equipment. USB-C charging makes it easy to power the radios at home, in the shop, at camp, or from a compatible vehicle charging setup.

Because each radio includes a charging block and cable, both units can be charged separately when needed.
