Weigh Safe Drop Hitch with Built-In Scale & Keyed-Alike Locking Pin

The Weigh Safe Drop Hitch is the original adjustable trailer hitch with a built-in tongue weight scale, giving you an easy way to check your trailer's tongue weight every time you hook up.

Instead of using a separate tongue weight scale or making a trip to a weigh station, simply couple your trailer to the Weigh Safe ball mount. The trailer pushes down on the hitch ball, which transfers pressure through an internal hydraulic piston to the built-in gauge, giving you an immediate tongue weight reading.

Every hitch includes both a 2" and 2-5/16" stainless steel hitch ball, allowing you to switch between two of the most common trailer coupler sizes. A keyed-alike hitch locking pin and dual-pin lock assembly are also included, so the locking components can be operated with the same key.

No need to choose between ball sizes. Every hitch includes both a 2" and 2-5/16" stainless steel hitch ball, giving you flexibility for different trailers and coupler sizes.

Keyed-Alike Locking System Included

The hitch includes a keyed-alike hitch locking pin and dual-pin lock assembly. The locking components use the same key, helping simplify your setup while securing both the hitch to the receiver and the adjustable slider assembly.

Drop Hitch Size & Weight

• 4" Drop: Approximately 16 lbs
• 6" Drop: Approximately 18 lbs
• 8" Drop: Approximately 19 lbs
• 10" Drop: Approximately 20 lbs

For overall hitch height, add approximately 3" to the listed drop. For example, a 4" drop hitch measures approximately 7" from the top of the receiver to the bottom of the hitch.

Too little tongue weight can contribute to trailer sway, while excessive tongue weight can negatively affect the way your tow vehicle handles, steers, and brakes. The built-in Weigh Safe scale gives you a convenient way to check tongue weight before heading down the road and determine whether your load should be repositioned.
